The In-Line On/Off Switch works great in residential (120VAC) as well as commercial (277VAC) applications and offers a higher load switching capacity than the Insteon Micro Modules so you can control larger banks of lighting. In addition this In-Line On/Off Switch is dual-band, meaning it communicates simultaneously over both radio frequency (RF) and the powerline, increasing reliability while enhancing your Insteon network.
Add a Wireless Wall Switch Anywhere
A Mini Remote Switch can be wirelessly linked to the In-Line On/Off Switch and mounted on any wall you where you want control (mounting kit sold separately). The Mini Remote Switch looks like a standard wall switch but is powered by a USB-rechargeable battery and can go for over a year without recharging under daily use. You can add as many as you want, providing a wireless switch at different points in the room or across the house.
App Control
Using Insteon Hub (2245-222), you can control, program, and manage settings for In-Line On/Off Switch and any other Insteon devices in your network. You can even schedule timed events, receive alerts when devices are activated and more.
Insteon also offers a Micro On/Off Module that wires in behind your existing switches or fixtures. This allows you to keep your existing antique, toggle or decorative wall switches while adding the customizable Insteon remote control functionality.
Non-Volatile Memory
All In-Line On/Off Switch settings are stored in non-volatile memory and are not lost during power failures. Additionally, in the event of a power loss, the In-Line On/Off Switch will return to its last on/off state when power is restored.
